Ira Finegold, MD, MS
Ira Finegold MD, is a Nationally and Internationally known allergist/immunologist of distinction. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago School Of Medicine with MD Honors, and MS in Pathology. He is Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology and Internal Medicine. He practices Allergy in Manhattan and White Plains, NY. He is the Chief of Allergy at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital and a Professor of Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
He currently serves on the FDA Advisory Panel for Allergenic Products.
He is a Past President of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Honors: Sheard-Sandford Award, PBK, AOA, Sigma Xi, Distinguished Fellow, Living Lecture Celebrant, Top Doctors, Best Doctors Awards.
He has published many articles and chapters in textbooks on allergic subjects. He has been an an invited lecturer both nationally and internationally.

What is an Allergist?
An allergist is trained to find the source of your symptoms, treat it and help you feel healthy. After earning a medical degree, the doctor must complete a three-year residency-training program in either internal medicine or pediatrics. Then, an allergist completes two or three more years of study in the field of asthma, allergy and immunology.
